The Digital and Physical Materiality of Contemporary Archives
An exploration of academic rigor and creative practice, investigating the evolution of arts research through visual epistemology and experimental materiality.
PhD Project Portfolio
This Portfolio showcases work undertaken as part of my arts-based doctoral project, 'The Entangled Self-Assemblage: A Diffractive-Posthuman Approach to Investigating Trauma
through Art Practice'.
- Assemblage One: Trauma and the Body - Seeing the Self/Selves
- Assemblage Two: Insides/Outsides - Performing the Self/Selves
- Assemblage Three: Time present and time past, in time future - Re-Viewing the Self/Selves
- Assemblage Four: Living, Dying, Life and Death: Re-Turning/Re-membering the Self/Selve
- Assemblage Five: Becoming-Otherwise: Re-imagining the Self/Selves

Research Methodology
My research methodology bridges the gap between theoretical inquiry and creative practice, utilizing an iterative cycle of experimentation, reflection, and critical analysis. By investigating the materiality of digital and physical archives, I aim to uncover new epistemological frameworks for contemporary visual arts.
